Questions

Things future students always ask.

Do I need any prior grooming experience to enroll?

No. The 300-Hour program is designed for beginners. Bring valid photo ID and complete an admissions appointment. Ages 16–17 may enroll with parental consent.

What's the difference between this and the 600-Hour Advanced program?

The 300-Hour program covers everything you need to walk into a salon as a working groomer. The 600-Hour Advanced builds on this foundation with corrective styling, AKC breed standards, business fundamentals, and portfolio development for solo work or salon ownership.

Can I work while taking classes?

Yes — we offer morning, evening, and weekend tracks specifically so working students can enroll. Most students finish in 12 weeks regardless of which track they choose.

What credential do I receive?

A diploma from Boujee Pet Grooming School & Academy. Florida does not require licensure or certification to work as a pet groomer; this diploma satisfies what most salons look for in a hire.
